Just across from Kerouac’s park is this liquor store which we have been known to frequent a time or two while visiting Lowell. And of course the local newspaper, the Lowell Sun.

Ducking into the upper west side streets off Central Park West can reveal some pretty beautiful buildings depending on which streets you choose. I’ve walked by this building for years but never ducked in to see its entrance and beauty. Harperley Hall, 41 Central Park West.
432 Park Avenue (432parkavenue.com) will be the tallest residential tower in the western hemisphere upon its completion. This photo shows it stretching up into the fog behind 745 Fifth Avenue.
My wife really took to the architecture of this 1927 hotel that overlooks Central Park in New York City. Having passed by it so many times in my life I never took the time to look up and study it. This photo seems to help in doing that. It was a foggy day in the city on January 4th.
I shot this from our balcony at dusk, at once noticing the light of the glowing sun upon the San Seair and surrounding clouds, as well as the spiraling trio of pelicans, or sea turkeys as we jokingly called them.
The rich glow of the evening sun upon the old Union Trust Building in Providence, Rhode Island at 60 Dorrance Street Saturday was beautiful. We spent the weekend seeing Bob Dylan in Boston and Providence.
